When you arrive in Bangkok you'll get a 30-day Tourist Visa at the airport.
If you'd like to stay longer than 30 days in Thailand you can either:

• Leave then re-enter Thailand

  If you fly back in you'll get another 30-day Tourist Visa. If you enter over land you'll be given a 15-day Tourist Visa.
  You're allowed no more than three 30-day visas within a 6-month period.

• Apply for 60-day Tourist Visa before you go to Thailand
